BioInnovation Institute commits an additional €1.3M to Yngvi Bio

Yngvi Bio has been selected for the BioInnovation Institute (BII)'s Venture House. We are one of six companies in the new cohort, and the programme kicks off this September.

Venture House is BII's continuation programme for companies that have been through the 12-month Venture Lab. It runs for 18 months and comes with an additional €1.3 million in capital, alongside continued access to BII's labs and offices in Copenhagen, their network of advisors, partners and investors, and a structured series of executive sprints covering operational planning, fundraising, partnerships and leadership.

The capital and the support behind it will go towards pushing our protein-based crop protection closer to the field.

And we are in great company. The rest of the cohort spans cancer therapeutics, surgical imaging, inflammatory disease, vaccine-based immunotherapy and waste-to-fuel technology: PanTarg, 3Sonic, Inia Biosciences, Proxi Biotech and Sagava. It is a reminder of how broad the definition of life science has become, and we are glad to be the crop protection entry on that list.
